Parent to Parent of Georgia

Parent to Parent of Georgia offers a wide range of services for individuals with disabilities or special health care needs from birth to age 26 and their families. They connect families with one-on-one support from parents in the disability community, and offer trainings and webinars covering topics from advocacy to voting and everything in between!

Their Roadmap to Success is a fantastic resource for families from diagnosis to transitioning to adulthood. Their Special Needs Database is expansive and assists parents in finding early interventionists, therapists, medical, dental, and other service providers across the state of Georgia that works with children and young adults with disabilities. Their P2P Database is designed for “anyone and everyone who is searching for resources for the disability community.” They even provide a phone number that connects you to a representative who can assist you in navigating the Database (we recommend checking out their User Guide for how to get the most out of this wonderful resource)!

Parent to Parent is an excellent place to find events and activities that are happening around Georgia for children and youth with disabilities and their families and loved ones too! You can also find support groups to further connect with other families who share similar experiences.

This is only a snapshot of what they offer! Be sure to check out the Parent to Parent of Georgia website for a truly amazing resource for youth with disabilities and their families!
